Just days after relaunching its verification application process, Twitter is once again pausing it – this time due to the huge backlog.
Last week, Twitter announced the relaunch of Twitter verification application process that had been paused back in 2017, and once again started reviewing public verification applications.
However, just days after the announcement, Twitter has once again paused the process – this time due to the huge number of applications.
This was, of course, quite a predictable outcome – albeit an annoying one. If your account belongs to any of the eligible categories, chances are you’ve been waiting for Twitter verification to open for a very long time.
Oh well, you’ll just have to wait some more.
We’re rolling in verification requests. So we gotta hit pause on accepting any more for now while we review the ones that have been submitted.
