Facebook is extending its data portability options, allowing you to now transfer posts and notes to Google Docs, Blogger, and WordPress.

Transfer Facebook Posts: In order to give its users more control and choice over their data, Facebook is expanding its data portability tool with two new options – posts and notes.

Up until now, Facebook has allowed users to transfer their photos and videos to Backblaze, Dropbox, Google Photos, and Koofr, but now they get to directly transfer posts and notes to Google Docs, Blogger, and WordPress.com. as well.

To better reflect the tool’s new features, Facebook is renaming it “Transfer Your Information.” Users will be asked for their password before the transfer starts, and data is encrypted as it moves between services, which makes the transfer secure and private.

The tool can be accessed in the Facebook settings, under “Your Facebook Information,” by clicking on “Transfer Your Information.”

1. Go to “Your Facebook Information” in your Facebook settings.
2. Select “Transfer a Copy of Your Information.”
3. Enter your Facebook password.
4. Choose your data type and destination.
5. Log in to the service you want to import your data to.
6. Select “Confirm Transfer.”
