Ryan Reynolds: Winnie-the-Pooh learns a 2022 lesson

If you thought that Ryan Reynolds’ ad ideas had become a little predictable of late, get prepared for a wonderful surprise. Maximum Effort has seized on an opportunity afforded by Public Domain Day in the US, January 1, when the copyrights of previously protected works expire in the US. The original Winnie-the-Pooh stories have entered the public domain in the US. They can be shared, performed, repurposed or sampled – and Reynolds has used that freedom to introduce the US to Winnie the Screwed and his Big Wireless Bill, with a Winne-the-Pooh style storybook in which the famous bear needs to learn about Mint Mobile and its three free months offer.

The final scene in the video is classic Reynolds wit. May that, and his quirky creativity stay strong and live long, right?
